Obama totally played Stealer's Wheel nonstop before that meeting. Afterwards, he sat down with John Kerry and said, "You know, you were right, John. Rafferty really was a great lyricist. I mean, that whole bit about clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right... it really spoke to me, man!"
And John Kerry goes, "But here's what still blows my mind--is he talking about his own left and right? Or OURS? Because--depends on which--...they switch... Barry? ...You see, the--the mirror has two faces..." and then he scampers off to the restroom.
